Commemorating Easter this year, grandkemang Hotel Jakarta, together with Tomato Art School and for the second time, shares this special moment with Indonesian children with cancer under the Yayasan Pita Kuning (Yellow Ribbon Foundation) which engaged with Dharmais Cancer Hospital in funding and supporting not only the children with cancer but also the unfortunate families with children who have cancer.

Easter Charity Tree

As for the hotel decor, together with Tomato Art School, grandkemang  Hotel Jakarta will feature some so- called 'Dino Eggs' all over the area. They are giant eggs made from Styrofoam with height ranging from 30 cm to 50 cm, wonderfully and attractively painted by children for children. Each of the eggs will be labeled with the name of the artist child and will be for sale. The money collected will be given to Yayasan Pita Kuning. Other forms of decoration will be bunny dolls and chocolate eggs hanged together with Dino Eggs which will add some donation worth IDR 50.000 / each per sale. This Charity Tree will be installed in the lobby area from April 1 - 24, 2011. Both in-house and outside guests are welcome and encouraged to participate in the program to help the children with cancer.

Dino Eggs Painting Competition

As part of Easter Charity program, there will be Dino Eggs Painting competition for public, held on April 10th, 17th wit the final round taking place on April 24, 2011. In this competition, children from age of 6 to 12 years old and 13 to 18 years, respectively, will have to paint on Dino Eggs which is provided by the hotel. A total winner prizes of IDR 12 million for the two categories will be offered.

Charity Easter Brunch and Garage Sale

As the peak event of this Easter Charity month program, grandkemang Hotel will provide his guests with an Easter Brunch served at Sperta all day dining, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. for only IDR 188.000,- ++ inclusive a wide range of "all you can eat" selection, free flow of chilled juices and iced lemon tea. From this Easter Brunch, grandkemang Hotel will donate 20 % from the income generated to the Yayasan Pita Kuning. 

On the same day, in collaboration and support from members of Helping Hand Club (HHC) community, grandkemang will hold a Garage Sale at Vibar poolside, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The final round of Dino Eggs Painting competition and the winners announcement for the two categories will take place on the same day at Sparca lounge along with Dino Eggs auctions for Charity, where audiences and guests will be encouraged to participate in raising the funds for the children through the Yayasan Pita Kuning foundation. During the event, all respected guests will be entertained by hosts from the same foundation (among them are famous Indonesian Artists and Singers who will give a special performance to entertain the guests and children with cancer who will join the event ) Hosts will be Tia Ivanka, Ina Thomas, Nafa Urbach and Nova Eliza.
